Army Escape Tier Lists

Rank stage pain and Robux value for ESCAPE ARMY OBBY! so you practice and spend with a plan.

Last updated:

The Tier List Hub for Army Escape ranks two things players argue about in ESCAPE ARMY OBBY! by filos on top: which stage themes feel cruelest on a free path, and which gamepasses actually deserve Robux. This is a fan ranking for a classic military boot-camp escape obby with landmines, barbed wire, barracks props, morphs, gears, VIP options, and a helicopter finale — not an official filos chart.

Use this hub to pick a practice target via the dedicated stage difficulty ranking, then open the detailed gamepass tier list before you buy Jetpack, Double Jump, coils, Flying Cloud, Magic Carpet, Grapple Hook, or anything louder.

How we rank stage difficulty (S–C)

Criteria for free-path clears:

  • Consistency required (can you succeed 5/10 attempts once learned?)
  • Camera read difficulty
  • Punishment length after a fail
  • Multiplayer interference risk on 10-player servers
  • How often the section blocks badge hunters mid-ammo sweep

Full write-ups with drill plans live on Stage Difficulty. Summary:

S-tier pain (practice here first)

Landmine fields and late helicopter / finale stretches sit at the top for most free players. Mines punish panic; finales punish ego. If you only have fifteen minutes, drill these from the nearest checkpoint using habits from Tips and Tricks.

A-tier pain

Barbed wire corridors and thin barracks beams with busy traffic land in A. Wire is readable with a raised camera (Controls), but multiplayer bumps turn fair sections unfair. Leave space and read Players.

B-tier pain

Early boot-camp mixups, moving platform climbs, and morph/gear distraction rooms are B. They kill newcomers who skip Getting Started, yet become stable after one clean walkthrough pass.

C-tier pain

Lobby traversal, obvious tutorial jumps, and wide safe pads are C. Do not over-practice these unless you are warming up inputs.

How we rank gamepass value

Value is not the same as raw power. A pass that skips the whole map is “strong” but may sabotage Ammo Collector learning. Our child page ranks:

  • Clear-speed value for players who already finished once
  • Secret-hunting value for high shelves
  • Rage reduction versus skill replacement
  • Chaos risk to other players
  • Free-path advice so you know what you give up by buying

Ranking philosophy

We bias toward honest free clears. Army Escape is completable without purchases. Passes are comfort, flex, or chaos — not moral failures, and not mandatory. If a patch nerfs or moves a stage, re-check Updates and adjust your personal tier list. If codes drop freebies, check Codes before you spend.

We also bias against exploit culture. Anything that belongs on Scripts with safety warnings is outside these rankings.

How to build your own live tier list

  1. Clear once on free path.
  2. Note your top three death screens.
  3. Rank those sections S–C using the criteria above.
  4. Only then map a gamepass to the S-tier problem.
  5. Keep a note in the Tools checklist so future you remembers why you bought (or skipped) a pass.

Tier lists are conversation starters, not commandments. If Flying Cloud feels S-tier for your hands but Grapple Hook clicks better, trust your session logs. Use this hub to ask better questions: “Which military nightmare am I actually stuck on?” and “Which purchase fixes that without ruining the fun of escaping the base?”
